How to stop running through the ball

If you’re regularly hitting the tape or making unforced errors, you could be rushing your strokes or moving through the ball too soon. When we are the serving team it’s important that we aren’t rushing to the kitchen line.

If we rush through the ball, we put our whole body weight through the ball which can cause more errors including sending the ball too high over the net.

Next time you're on court, take your time, pause before your opponent hits the ball so that you can focus on the ball from their paddle and connect from a stable position on the court.

STOP, STABILIZE, HIT then MOVE!
